WHO IS AN RCIC-IRB?

A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) is a licensed professional authorized to provide immigration advice and services under the oversight of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC)—a regulatory body established by the Canadian government through legislation.

The RCIC-IRB designation is an advanced Level 3 license granted by the CICC. It permits consultants to represent clients in all immigration and refugee matters, including proceedings before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB).

As of July 1, 2023, only RCICs holding the RCIC-IRB license may handle IRB-related cases.

Sarabjit Kaur Bharmi, as a licensed RCIC-IRB, is authorized to offer full representation and legal advocacy for clients within Canada and at international Canadian immigration offices.

Her scope of practice includes handling claims, appeals, admissibility hearings, detention reviews and matters involving the following government agencies:

    • Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
    • Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB)
    • Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)
    • Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
